Gil Martin

Laying down the backbone of Stir Crazy’s wall of sound, Gil brings groove, texture, and drive. His riffs lock in tight with the rhythm section, while his harmony guitar and occasional lead breaks add depth and dynamics.
Gil is part of the band’s unsung powerhouse ... steady, versatile, and the glue holding the guitar attack together.
Matty Smith
Lead Vocals
The voice of Stir Crazy, Matty delivers every lyric with power, grit, and emotion.
Whether soaring over an anthem or growling through a hard-hitting rocker, his vocal range certainly commands attention.
A born performer, Matty connects with the crowd on a personal level in
equal parts : storyteller, showman, and rebel spirit.
Kez Benford
Bass Guitar
Thunder and groove roll from Kez’s bass lines, giving Stir Crazy its heartbeat.
Blending classic low-end rumble with punchy modern tones, they craft the foundation that keeps the crowd moving.
On stage, Kez is both the anchor and the wild card — rock-solid rhythm with the flair to keep things wonderfully unpredictable.
Allan Spalding
Drums and vocals
The engine of Stir Crazy, Allan drives every song with relentless energy and precision.
From pounding rock anthems to subtle dynamic shifts, his drumming sets the pace and ignites the fire.
Known for both power and showmanship, Allan is impossible to ignore.
When the sticks start flying, the room starts to shake.

Coming together to form a semi-professional Rock Band back in 2024, the collaborative efforts of
Stir Crazy were born out of a strong desire to do what they loved doing the most :

Best known as a local Rock Band in the south of England, Stir Crazy and their sound have developed and grown in popularity since their formation in 2024. Influenced by the sounds of their contemporaries that include a diverse and eclectic mix of superlative rock talents. The band perform their original music that speaks to fans across the rock music spectrum.
Their style has become synonymous with a diverse collection of melodies and compositions.

The architect of Stir Crazy’s signature sound, Gary weaves blistering solos and gritty riffs that cut straight to the soul. With a style rooted in classic rock but laced with modern edge, every note carries fire and finesse.
On stage, Gary thrives on the adrenaline rush, driving the band’s energy sky-high with electrifying guitar work and raw passion.
